How we choose spots
Hand-picked, not scraped. We don't bulk-import thousands of listings. Every restaurant is added one at a time.
No pay-to-play. A restaurant can't buy its way into the directory. Any sponsored placement is always clearly labelled.
Checked details. We only show phone numbers and websites we've confirmed. If we're not sure, we leave it out rather than guess.
Local perspective. Spots are organised the way Capetonians actually eat: by neighbourhood, by occasion and by time of day.
